Looking through the Window

This morning I was surprised to find the sun rising up over the horizon. I had almost forgotten that the sun does still shine sometimes in the winter up here. I have been privileged to have a nice place lately with a good view to the east, so I though I’d share a few photos I’ve taken over the past several weeks. The last one was taken this afternoon with a really cool lenticular cloud that is formed by the mountain’s mere presence disrupting wind patterns; it’s pretty from here, but it portends foul weather up on the mountain.

Anyway, here’s the link to those pictures.

What really “wow”s me is the Astronomical Photo of the Day.

Wish I could say that I took that one, but it’s just a NASA stock photo.

Great photos.

Now, you must check this out; file under Communism–or maybe healthcare. Or perhaps it’s time to consider merging the two….
